Dear ITI Members,

This spring, we are launching the third ITI Study Club in Hungary, under the name ITI Study Club Buda.

Our aim is to use the ITI’s international network to bring inspiring young international speakers to Budapest and offer insights into current developments in implant dentistry around the world. 

Our first guest speaker will be Dr. Frank Spitznagel from the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Düsseldorf.

The lecture will focus on immediate implant placement, digital planning, and the SSA concept, under the title:

Digital Workflows in Implant Dentistry: Optimizing Immediacy and Prosthetic Outcomes

Digital technologies have transformed implant dentistry by enabling more precise treatment planning, streamlined clinical execution, and predictable outcomes. This lecture will explore how fully integrated digital workflows — including diagnostics, virtual planning, guided surgery, and prosthetic design — can support immediacy protocols and improve long-term prosthetic results.

The concepts and clinical recommendations presented will be based on current scientific literature and illustrated with clinical case examples. Participants will gain practical insights into selecting appropriate digital tools, adapting workflows to individual clinical situations, and improving communication between surgical and restorative teams to achieve efficient, evidence-based, and patient-centered outcomes.
