Expecting the Unexpected: A Surgeon Shares his Experiences
Peer Kämmerer introduces a case in which a patient did only come back 1.5 years instead of 4 months after extensive bone grafting, resulting in severe resorption of the iliac graft. In combination with a highly atrophic maxilla, financial constraints and poor compliance due to cognitive disorders this case presented many challenges that were tackled using zygomatic implants.
